The power of gathering.
As Unify continues to grow, we’re on a mission: to co-create meaningful connections and solutions that last. And, that’s exactly what Unify’s longest standing employee resource group (ERG) is doing with clients and with one another.
The state of women hangs in the balance… at least that was the headline from McKinsey & Company and LeanIn’s annual Women in the Workplace report was:
A year and a half into the COVID-19 pandemic, women have made important gains in representation, and especially in senior leadership. Yet the pandemic continues to take a toll. Women are now significantly more burned out than they used to be—and increasingly more so than men.
Women are stepping up and burning out.
Despite this added stress and exhaustion, women are rising to the occasion as stronger leaders and taking on the extra work that comes with this: compared to men at the same level, women are doing more to support their teams and advance diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. They are also more likely than men to practice allyship. Yet this critical work is going unrecognized and unrewarded by most companies, and that has concerning implications. Companies risk losing the very leaders they need right now, and it’s hard to imagine organizations navigating the pandemic and building inclusive workplaces if this work isn’t truly prioritized.
To Unify is to make whole.
That’s why it’s so important now, more than ever, for women to connect, have a seat at the table, and elevate one another. The Women of Unify group elevates connecting, growing, and networking. They host events throughout the year intended to encourage and educate women at Unify while providing space for connection and networking opportunities.
