Justin Sampson is Unify’s Healthcare Practice Director of Revenue Cycle & Value Based Care with 18 years of healthcare experience. In addition to six years of consulting experience, Justin has spent 12 years as a financial leader for a large independent medical center located in Bellevue, WA. Justin is an accomplished healthcare leader with deep skills in hospital and physician operations including revenue cycle process improvement, fee-for-service and value based care reimbursement strategy, accountable care network build and operations, complex managed care negotiations, patient financial services, denials management, and utilization review. Justin has demonstrated a history of success both consulting and as a health system leader in achieving higher financial performance through revenue cycle process improvement initiatives, development of value based care strategies, and the build and operations of accountable care networks. He comes to Unify to support and grow the Healthcare and Life Sciences industry vertical, building off his previous healthcare consulting, operations and financial experience to build a team focused on consulting solutions to solve the continued brokenness of the healthcare industry.

Financial leader responsible for coordinating and leading revenue cycle initiatives that resulted in reductions in denials with a focus on lost revenue that resulted in multi-millions of additional annual revenue.

Built and led a 500+ physician and hospital accountable care network which translated into leading a merger of two networks of 1500+ physicians, 150 physician practices, and 4 hospitals.

Negotiated and implemented value-based contract strategies which included: direct to employer initiatives, bundled payments, pay for performance, shared savings, and downside financial risk.

Led the optimization of a population health platform system focused on clinical transformation and social determinants of health.
